Spreading Some Isobar Good in Detroit

“You can never go wrong by investing in communities and the human beings within them.” –Pam Moore, CEO and Founder of Marketing Nutz

With that spirit in mind, we wanted to spread a little good of our own. Over the summer, the Isobar Detroit team took part in two Isobar Good events, helping to bring Corporate Social Responsibility to the forefront in our office.

In August, the team took part in a Dentsu Aegis Network-wide office event to honor and support America’s servicemen and women by participating in Crown Royal’s Purple Bag Project. We spent the afternoon compiling comfort packages filled with treats and personal notes for our troops. Our efforts resulted in 450 care packages that were sent overseas in hopes of lifting spirits and offering encouragement to troops who are currently deployed.

Later in the month, the team volunteered at Summer in the City, an inspirational organization that helps to improve and beautify Detroit. This marks the fourth summer the Detroit team has worked with this organization and, as always, it proved to be both a fun and rewarding experience. The 17 Isobar employees in attendance teamed up with Wayne State College students and local middle-schoolers to assemble “back to school” bags and paint a mural on the Ernest T. Ford Recreation Center in Highland Park.

Volunteering is very important to the Isobar Detroit team and we’re so proud and honored to have helped with such great causes.
