Bringing together Chicago’s VR community

By: Isobar US Experience Designer, Samantha Martinez

Isobar will be hosting a Meetup of the Chicago Virtual Reality group a/k/a CHIVR on Wednesday, March 22 at our offices located at 300 E. Randolph in Chicago.

Isobar is bringing together technology enthusiasts from the Chicagoland area to learn about the latest developments in virtual, augmented and mixed reality. From the newest technology and gear to our most innovative experiences, this event will provide attendees with a hands-on experience to check out where VR/AR currently are at and, more importantly, what the future looks like.

Attendees will get to experience and learn more about VR experiences we’ve developed for Wyndham Worldwide, Patron Tequila and Mountain Dew as well as demo a prototype application we’ve developed for the U.S. Air Force using the Microsoft Hololens.

Additionally, Teek Mach, a Los Angeles based Art Director and Illustrator, who has worked on shows including Westworld for HBO, Akira for Warner Bros. and Criminal Minds for TBS will be doing a live demonstration of Google’s TiltBrush. Mach will share how she has been using it on projects for the Smashing Pumpkins and Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra. (http://teekmach.com/TEEK-MACH).
