Isobar paired with Startup, Slobbr, for 72-hour Brandathon in Boston

On August 4th, teams from 12 agencies were paired with twelve startups at the kickoff for the Boston Ad Club’s third annual Brandathon. Arnold Worldwide hosted the evening at their new Boston headquarters. Attendees enjoyed a cocktail reception as excitement grew for the agency/start up pairing announcements.

The creative team from Isobar, Brayden Varr and Kelsey Knight, were matched with, Slobbr, an app that connects dog lovers to dog friendly places while introducing them to the best products, and a chance to help the shelter community.

The team also included: Associate Creative Director, Bob Goeldner, Associate Strategy Director, Jenessa Cardner, and Vice President, Steve Myers. They met briefly with the founders of Slobbr to learn as much as they could about the brand.

Over the weekend, the sky was sun-filled and cloudless, while inside the team holed up in a fox hole of creativity. Slobbr helped the team stay motivated with surprise deliveries of cake, beer, snacks and plenty of coffee.

The walls of the team room were covered with ideas and images of dogs as the team worked day and night against the clock to create an in-depth campaign for Slobbr, and the final presentation was submitted late Sunday night. All participating agencies will be presenting their work in Boston on August 18th to a sold-out audience at the Revere Hotel.

The team can’t wait to present the work and represent Isobar.
