Coach Ranked #1



L2 released its 2014 Digital IQ Index®: Fashion, which yielded four Genius brands: Coach, Tory Burch, Gucci and Ralph Lauren. All of the top brands where cited as successful due to mobile and omnichannel capabilities.

“Coach, ranked No. 1 in the Index, provides a channel-agnostic shopping experience as an in-store pickup pioneer. It has a “photobomb” feature in its app to encourage user-generated photos. The tablet site has large, touch-friendly buttons and image-centric search.”

Seeing the app we developed with Coach receive special mention in the L2 report was particularly thrilling. The launch of the Coach app in October was aligned with the unveiling of the CoachXPeanuts collection, part of the series of limited edition “Play Collections”. The app debuted in 10 countries and 7 languages, with the US and Japan provided access to shop the collection via the app. For the regions where the collection wasn’t available to purchase, a lookbook was available.

The lifestyle and content features of Photobomb and “Which Peanut are You?” encouraged users to engage with the Coach app, generate fun photos and share their content across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, email and text message. This generated over 3.4 million impressions for #CoachXPeanuts.

Our work with Coach is just beginning, the app will get an exciting update in early 2015 to align with a new collection launch. More fun and engaging features for Coach customers to engage with are on the horizon. We will also be expanding the reach of the app, launching in more countries. Additionally, in January we will be attending CES with our client as we continue to partner on omnichannel innovation solutions.

There are a number of exciting initiatives on the horizon for Coach in 2015 and we look forward to helping them maintain the #1 position as Digital IQ Geniuses.
