Isobar Hosts UpwardlyGlobal Workshop

On Tuesday evening, Isobar hosted a volunteer event with non-profit organization UpwardlyGlobal. UpwardlyGlobal works to eliminate employment barriers for skilled immigrants and refugees that have recently moved to the United States.  We had 14 job seekers and 16 Isobar volunteers attend this event and it was a great success.  Not only did the job seekers learn how to improve their interviewing skills but our employees were able to learn about the different challenges these individuals face when looking for employment. The job seekers benefited from practicing their interviewing skills with seasoned consulting professionals and at the same time learn about the fast-paced innovative culture of Isobar.

When the sessions ended participants were able to enjoy pizza, sodas and beer while networking with one another.  Isobar is honored to host such an impactful Chicago non-profit and have a very engaging volunteer event. We will be working with UpwardlyGlobal in the near future and hope to make it a semi-annual volunteer event, providing employees an outlet to give back to the community.
