Boston Takes the Plunge

Next Thursday, November 14th, we’re excited to host Boston Takes The Plunge, an event supporting the efforts of Toilet Hackers’ Girls for Girls hygiene education program in India and Indonesia. The Toilet Hackers organization builds awareness and provides access to safe, secure and clean sanitation to the 40% of humanity living without it.

Come join us in our office — temporarily transformed into a toilet wonderland — for an evening of cocktails and amazing food to help raise awareness for Toilet Hacker’s and the 2.6 million people without toilets.

Combined with the creative efforts of Roundarch Isobar, the event will include entertaining fundraising, in addition to the requisite toilet humor. Get ready for some live entertainment, delicious food, and raffle items from local Boston vendors including: Boston Wine Exchange, The Capital Grille, McCrea’s Candies and El Pelon.

Improved access to sanitation and hygiene could liberate 1/2 of the hospitals beds in Africa. 1/10 of the world illnesses are caused by poor sanitation, bad hygiene and unsafe water. Toilet Hackers launched the Girls For Girls initiative in Indonesia and India, providing scholarships to girls to become sanitation ambassadors in their communities.  Learn more about Toilet Hackers at toilethackers.org.
