Isobar at Spikes Asia 2012

Held on September 16th-18th in Singapore, Spikes Asia has become one of the most highly-regarded creative festivals in the region.? For the second year, Isobar Asia Pacific proudly sponsored the Innovasia zone, an interactive display of breakthrough technology-based products from Asia and beyond. This year, Isobar pushed the boundaries by using real work from Nowlab teams across the globe and showcased possible retail experiences for the adidas brand. The interactive experience demonstrated unique installations that connected mobile devices to interactive TV commercials that use high-frequency sounds to connect to the customer’s phone.? The display also included in-store and outdoor gaming experiences. ?The video shows what a fun event it was and what a great time people had interacting with the displays and learning about the applications.

As well as sponsoring Innovasia, Jean Lin, Global Chief Strategy Officer at Isobar, hosted a forum with a panel of experts to explore whether technology hinders or accelerates the approach to creativity. ?The panel included: Haresh Khoobchandani, COO of Microsoft Indonesia, Ajay Mohan, Director of Partner Marketing and Digital Marketing for Intel Asia Pacific, and Dwayne Serjeant, Regional Practice Leader – User Experience at Isobar Hong Kong. The panel discussed the increasingly convergent world we are facing, and why people are struggling to adopt it.

Finally, a well-deserved congratulations goes to our Visual Jazz Isobar team in Australia, who picked up a Bronze award for JB Hi-Fi Now.
